Graphic and Web Designer Internship
Drimlike is looking for a Graphic Designer & Web Designer Intern to join our growing team in Edinburgh.
The post would be ideally suited to a recent graphics student with strong creative skills and will give you the chance to work on different projects.
We are looking for a graphic artist and designer to create logos, graphics, print and web design.
From the initial stage of concept through to final production, this role will involve working on a wide range of media that we produce.
Contract : Part Time or Full Time
Location : Edinburgh
YOUR ROLE
You will work with Drimlike’s creative team on various design projects. You will be immersed in the creative process from start to finish. Responsibilities will include collaborating on : branding, website design, image treatment, printed material and other stationery design.
YOUR SKILLS
ESSENTIAL
Excellent design and typography skills. Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign. Excellent creativity in designing. Design user interface for web. Create logos and icons. Good communication and organisational skills. High level of competency with computers/internet. A passion for fun with a proactive ’can-do, will-do’ attitude to be successful and learn. Ability to work on own initiative, under direction and within a team, as appropriate. Curiosity, and a passion for digital media. Ability to share opinions.
DESIRED
Education to degree level or equivalent (Graphic Design/Art/Communication/Digital Media). Familiarity with Google Apps and cloud-based collaboration.
WOULD BE A BONUS
Illustration and drawing skills. Web site information architecture organisation. Convert PSD designs to XHTML/CSS. Animation skills. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS. Knowledge in Game Design (Spritesheets).
